Israel ends security talks without ceasefire decision

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has convened an online meeting of the Security Cabinet, including Israel’s key ministers, to discuss a ceasefire arrangement in Lebanon.

Axar.az reports, citing Ynet, the meeting was called urgently, with ministers reportedly being notified just five minutes in advance.

The political-security cabinet meeting later ended after about four hours without any decision on a ceasefire in Lebanon. An Israeli official said after the meeting that “at this stage, we are not getting closer to a ceasefire.”
