Pashinyan congratulates Iran’s new supreme leader

Nikol Pashinyan has congratulated Mojtaba Khamenei on his election as Supreme Leader of Iran.

Axar.az informs, citing Armenian media, the Government of Armenia reported, in his message, Pashinyan stated that the strong relations between Armenia and Iran will continue to develop and achieve new successes.

It should be noted that the Assembly of Experts elected Mojtaba Khamenei as Iran’s new supreme leader yesterday. His father, the former supreme leader Ali Khamenei, was reportedly killed on February 28 in airstrikes carried out by the U.S. and Israel.
