Venezuela plans to erect Trump statue as 'great liberator'

U.S. Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum confirmed that a $100 million shipment of Venezuelan gold arrived in the United States, part of expanding economic cooperation following Burgum’s recent meetings with interim Venezuelan officials, including Delcy Rodríguez.

Axar.az reports, speaking on Fox News, Burgum highlighted the enthusiasm among Venezuelans for the reopening of their economy and remarked that the people of Venezuela are planning to erect a statue of President Donald Trump as a “great liberator” for his role in enabling economic recovery.

“I tell you, the people of Venezuela, they are going to be putting up a statue to President Trump as a great liberator because he has opened up their economy again after more than two decades," Burgum said.
