IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin has pledged that the Israeli military will continue targeting Iranian leaders following the overnight killing of IRGC Navy chief Alireza Tangsiri in Bandar Abbas.

Axar.az reports, citing Times of Israel, Defrin stated that: “the eliminations will not stop; we will continue to pursue anyone who threatens Israel."

Defrin adds that the military has already struck more than 1,000 targets within Iran’s weapon production industries during the ongoing conflict.

“We are talking about the factories that produce the missiles, the drones and defense systems,” he explains in a press conference.

He further notes that the IDF is hitting “all assets of the weapons [industries]. We will also reach the sub-contractors.”

“In the coming days, we will deepen the achievement and distance this threat for a long time,” he concludes.
