Iran says Israel struck key infrastructure, vows response

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Israel had struck two of the country’s largest steel plants, a power station and civilian nuclear facilities, among other infrastructure.

Axar.az reports, writing on X, Araghchi stated that "Israel claims it acted in coordination with the US."

"(The) attack contradicts U.S. President Donald Trump's extended deadline for diplomacy," he wrote.

Araghchi warned that Iran would respond, saying the country would “exact a heavy price” for what he described as Israeli actions.
