Pakistan and Turkiye hold talks on bilateral relations

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Islamabad to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments, including the situation in the Middle East.

Axar.az reports, according to a statement shared on the X page of the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar highlighted the historical and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Turkiye, rooted in shared history, culture, and mutual respect.

He expressed satisfaction with the positive momentum in bilateral relations and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to expanding cooperation across all areas of mutual interest.

The ministers reviewed the full spectrum of Pakistan–Turkiye relations and agreed to maintain close coordination to deepen their strategic partnership. They also exchanged views on regional developments, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and sustained diplomatic engagement to promote peace and stability.
