US-Iran talks could be held in Islamabad soon

US-Iran negotiations may take place in Islamabad in the coming days, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar said during a press conference following consultations with the foreign ministers of Egypt, Turkiye, and Saudi Arabia.

Axar.az reports Dar noted that Pakistan would be honored to host meaningful talks between the two parties aimed at achieving a comprehensive and lasting resolution to the ongoing conflict.

"Pakistan is very pleased that both Iran and the United States have placed their trust in Pakistan to facilitate these talks," he emphasized.

It should be noted that high-level negotiations on de-escalating Middle East tensions have previously been held in Islamabad.
