Iran ready for joint probe with Turkiye on missile claims

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has strongly denied claims that Iran fired missiles at Turkiye, describing such reports as “completely baseless.”

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, speaking in a phone call with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, Araghchi emphasized that the Islamic Republic respects Turkiye’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and is ready to engage in joint technical cooperation to investigate any potential claims.

The statement comes after a ballistic missile from Iran was intercepted and destroyed in Turkish airspace, following earlier missile incidents on March 4, 9, and 13.
