Safe passage in Hormuz tied to US ceasefire obligations

The safety of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz will be possible only if the United States fulfills its obligations under the ceasefire.

Axar.az reports, citing ISNA, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made the remarks during a phone call with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov.

"Safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz will be possible according to the established instructions, in coordination with the Iranian armed forces, through designated routes, and by observing existing technical measures—provided that the American side adheres to its commitments," the Foreign Minister said.
