The Israeli army has sentenced two soldiers to 30 days in prison for vandalizing a statue of Jesus Christ in southern Lebanon.

Axar.az informs, citing Euronews, that both soldiers have also been removed from military service.

It should be noted that a photo circulated on social media yesterday showing an Israeli soldier damaging a statue of Jesus Christ in southern Lebanon, sparking widespread outrage among users. Israeli authorities said an investigation would be conducted into the incident.
