IRGC carries out military operation in Kurdistan

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) carried out an anti-terror operation against separatist groups.

Axar.az reports, citing Tasnim, that the Public Relations Office of the Hamzeh Seyyed al-Shohada Headquarters of the IRGC stated that during intelligence monitoring, operatives linked to separatist terrorist groups who were allegedly planning terrorist activities were targeted in an operational strike.

It was reported that during the operation, anti-security items including Kalashnikov rifles and pistols, ammunition, combat grenades, fake identity documents, and Starlink satellite communication equipment were discovered in Iran’s Kurdistan province, and four individuals were arrested.

The statement further noted that the IRGC’s Hamzeh Seyyed al-Shohada Headquarters warned that it is closely monitoring the movements of such groups and that any actions against security in the northwest region will be met with a decisive response.
