Vucic: Best if no one said anything, as oil prices rise

Any message coming from the White House, Tehran, or the entire region only drives oil prices higher. The best thing would be if no one said anything—at least then oil prices wouldn’t rise. But as it is, every time they try to calm prices, they go up.

Axar.az reports, citing Serbian media, that President Aleksandar Vucic made the remarks.

“And now I tell you, I no longer know what we should do—we have already given up 25 percent of excise revenues. In six out of eight countries in the region, fuel prices are higher than ours. I don’t know what else we can do—should we give up all state revenues? We are in a very difficult situation,” he added.
