Kyiv could face a retaliatory mass missile strike if the Ukrainian authorities attempt to carry out the threats made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky ahead of May 9.

Axar.az reports that the statement was made by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova during a briefing.

“We urge Ukrainian citizens and the foreign diplomatic corps to take seriously both the recommendations of the Ministry of Defence to leave Kyiv in a timely manner, which could be subjected to a retaliatory mass missile strike in the event of attempts by the Kyiv regime to implement its criminal plans aimed at disrupting the celebrations of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, and the materials published on the website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” she said.
