Syrskyi says Russia intensifies frontline offensives

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi said that Russian forces have intensified offensive operations across the entire frontline and are carrying out troop regrouping.

Axar.az reports that Syrskyi stated the situation along the contact line remains difficult, with the Pokrovsk direction currently the most intense, where Russia has concentrated around 106,000 troops.

He added that high levels of activity are also observed in the Ocheretyne, Oleksandrivsk, Kupiansk, and Kostiantynivka directions, as well as along areas near the Russian state border.

According to him, Ukrainian Defence Forces are firmly holding their positions and conducting counter-operations where possible, including continued missions on Russian territory, with a presence still maintained in the Kursk region.

Syrskyi also claimed that Russian forces are suffering daily losses of at least 1,000 personnel.
