US President Donald Trump announced that a new ballroom is being built in the United States, describing it as a project inspired by similar facilities in China.

Axar.az reports that US President Donald Trump shared the remarks on his Truth Social account.

“China has a ballroom, and so should the USA,” Trump wrote, adding that the facility is already under construction and ahead of schedule.

According to the US president, the venue “will be the finest facility of its kind anywhere in the USA” and is expected to open around September 2028.

Trump also thanked supporters for backing the project.

"Thank you for all the support I have been given in getting this project going. The man I am walking with is President Xi, of China, one of the World’s Great Leaders!" the statement added.
