Ukraine’s long-range strikes reach Moscow over 500 km

Today, Ukraine’s long-range strikes reached targets in the Moscow region, with distances exceeding 500 kilometers from the state border.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that these strikes send a clear message to Russia that it must end the war it started.

“Our responses to Russia’s prolongation of the war and its attacks on our cities and communities are entirely justified. This time, Ukrainian long-range sanctions reached the Moscow region, and we are clearly telling the Russians: their state must end its war,” Zelensky wrote on Facebook.

Zelensky noted that Ukrainian drone and missile production continues to develop, and thanked the Security Service of Ukraine and the Defense Forces for their accuracy.

He also stressed that Russia has concentrated its strongest air defense systems in the Moscow region, but added that Ukrainian forces are managing to overcome them.

It should be noted that the strikes targeted areas within the Moscow region as part of Ukraine’s long-range operations.
