Armenia exports domestically produced weapons for first time

For the first time in its history, Armenia has exported weapons produced domestically and developed based on its own designs.

Axar.az informs that Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan announced this on his social media account.

He said that the products were exported to two different countries during the current month, with the contract valued at several million dollars.

Hayrapetyan did not disclose the types of weapons exported or the names of the buyer countries.

“The contract was implemented after overcoming numerous logistical challenges and obstacles,” he noted.
