Ghalibaf: Enemy will fail to divide our nation

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has said that Iran is facing attempts by its adversaries to weaken internal cohesion through economic pressure and media campaigns.

Axar.az reports, citing IRNA, Ghalibaf said that the goal of Iran’s opponents is to create internal divisions, undermine national unity, and compensate for their “military defeat” by forcing Iran into submission.

“They are trying to create division in the country through economic pressure and media manipulation in order to make up for their military defeat and force us into surrender — but this is a completely vain delusion,” he said.

He added that Iran stands at a sensitive and historic moment, where current actions will be judged by future generations.

“The great and history-making people of Iran know that they are standing at a sensitive and historic point, one that future generations will look back on with regret or pride,” Ghalibaf said.

He further emphasized that the current confrontation involves multiple arenas beyond the battlefield, including diplomacy, public engagement, and governance.

“In this decisive war, the battlefield is not only military. There is also the street arena, the diplomatic arena, and the arena of serving the people — four dimensions of a full-scale struggle,” he stated.

Ghalibaf noted that military achievements are achieved with public support, and that diplomacy’s role is to translate those gains into political and legal outcomes, while domestic governance must use those outcomes to resolve public issues.

“The achievements made in the military field through our missiles are achieved with the support of the people. The role of diplomacy is to turn these victories into political and legal gains, and the duty of the service arena is to solve people’s problems based on these achievements,” he said.
