Lukashenko accuses Pashinyan of misleading public

The public does not go into the details. Where will these pipelines come from? It would be interesting to know why he is lying to his people. What pipelines, from where will they come, who will supply this gas, and what money are we talking about?

Axar.az reports, citing BeLTA, during remarks after the Eurasian Economic Union summit in Astana, Lukashenko questioned the feasibility of the proposed project, saying there were no clear answers on where the pipelines or gas supplies would come from.

“Why is he misleading his people? What pipelines, from where, and who will provide this gas?” he said.

The Belarusian president pointed out that Russia currently supplies Armenia with duty-free natural gas at a price several times lower than in the European Union market. “$150–160 per thousand cubic meters.

In the EU, natural gas costs $550–650 per thousand cubic meters,” he said. “That’s just natural gas. I’m not even talking about anything else. That’s the benefit, if we speak about money.”

Alexander Lukashenko stressed that many statements in Armenia are being made in connection with the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7.
