Armenian Deputy PM calls for dialogue with Russia

Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan has stated that the problems between Moscow and Yerevan can be resolved through dialogue.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that he made the remarks during a reception held in Yerevan on the occasion of Russia Day.

“We hope that the existing issues and disagreements will be successfully overcome through an open dialogue, and relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation will continue to develop in a spirit of mutual understanding, mutual respect and good neighborliness for the benefit of our states and peoples,” the politician said.

Grigoryan also added that Russia holds a key position in global politics, the economy, and culture.

He further emphasized that the accumulated experience of cooperation between Moscow and Yerevan is a long-term, fundamental, and valuable asset that must be preserved regardless of changes in the international configuration.
