The United States has faced determined resistance from Iran’s army and people.

Axar.az reports, citing Mehr News, that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made the statement in an interview with Iranian television.

“The best time to end a war is when we have the advantage. We have indeed achieved victory on the battlefield,” the minister said.

The Iranian foreign minister emphasized that diplomacy is closely linked to military success.

“For this reason, Tehran hopes that a possible peace agreement with the United States will be reached under more favorable conditions.”

It is noted that earlier, Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, stated that the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding has "never been closer".
