Trump to meet Macron at Versailles after G7 Summit

President Donald Trump is set to meet French President Emmanuel Macron for a dinner at the Palace of Versailles following next week’s G7 Summit in France.

Axar.az reports, citing France24, the dinner, scheduled for Wednesday at the historic Palace of Versailles, will mark the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence and highlight Franco-American ties, according to Macron’s office.

The summit itself will take place in the lakeside town of Evian-les-Bains.

Trump is expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit, including talks with leaders from Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and India, as Washington and allies discuss issues ranging from global security to economic supply chains.

Ukraine and Iran are also expected to feature prominently in summit discussions, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky anticipated to attend.
