Turkish Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran has sent a congratulatory message to Azerbaijan on the occasion of National Salvation Day.
Axar.az reports that Duran wrote about this on his X social media account.
“I wholeheartedly celebrate the National Salvation Day of our brotherly and friendly country, dear Azerbaijan,” he said.
Duran added that National Salvation Day symbolizes the strong will of the Azerbaijani people, who secured their future in unity and solidarity and ensured the continuity of their state and the safety of their nation:
“National Salvation Day is a symbol of the strong will of the Azerbaijani people, who embraced their future in unity and solidarity, and who demonstrated determination for the continuity of their state and the peace of their nation. The brotherhood between Turkey and Azerbaijan, which shares the same joys and sorrows, is becoming stronger every day under the understanding of “one nation, two states.”
On this meaningful day, I respectfully and mercifully commemorate our esteemed martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s independence and territorial integrity, and I express my gratitude and appreciation to our heroic veterans.”
