US and Iran sign Memorandum of Understanding

The United States and Iran have signed a memorandum of understanding.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, the agreement was signed by US President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

The official also said that the details of the agreement will be released within the next 24–48 hours, while technical discussions are expected to begin later in the week.

It is noted that the deal provides for the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the lifting of the US blockade on Iran.
