Dar and Fidan discuss US-Iran deal, bilateral ties

A phone conversation was held between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan.

Axar.az reports, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan's X, during the conversation, the two sides welcomed the recent understandings reached between the United States and Iran and exchanged views on the upcoming signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in Burgenstock, Switzerland, on June 19, 2026.

They also discussed preparations for the upcoming Regional Four (R-4) Foreign Ministers’ meeting later this month.

In addition, Dar and Fidan exchanged views on Pakistan–Turkiye bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the longstanding ties between the two countries.
