Netanyahu urges ministers not to attack Trump personally

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed his ministers not to personally criticize U.S. President Donald Trump.

Axar.az reports, citing i24NEWS, senior Israeli officials have privately criticized Trump and his negotiating team over their approach to Iran and Hezbollah.

The officials said Jerusalem believes Washington does not fully understand the ideology behind decision-making in Tehran and Hezbollah.

They expressed concern that Iran could use any agreement with the United States to rebuild its economy and military capabilities while making limited concessions on its nuclear program and expanding its regional influence through Hezbollah and other allied groups.

The report added that criticism has been directed at Trump and his team, but Netanyahu has sought to prevent public personal attacks against the U.S. president.
