Erdogan: South Caucasus not discussed with Trump

The South Caucasus was not discussed during the meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in Ankara, but the issue could be added to the agenda if necessary.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the remarks at a press conference following the 36th NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government in Ankara.

He described the outcome of the two-day alliance summit as "highly successful and historic."

"The summit laid the foundations for a stronger North Atlantic Alliance. The fact that all 32 NATO member states were represented in the Turkish capital at the leaders' level demonstrates the level of trust and respect for Turkish diplomacy," the president said.
