5.1 magnitude earthquake hits Kyrgyzstan

A magnitude 5.1 earthquake has struck Kyrgyzstan.

Axar.az reports that according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 6 kilometers. The epicenter was located 127 kilometers southeast of Kyrgyzstan’s capital, Bishkek.

Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations said the tremors were felt at an intensity of 2 points in Almaty.
