Putin discussed Ukraine conflict with Trump’s special envoys

Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin has discussed possible ways to resolve the conflict in Ukraine with U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Ushakov also noted that the U.S. representatives presented several ideas on how the conflict could be resolved during their visit to Moscow.

“The American representatives prepared seriously for this visit. They not only expressed their traditional interest in an early cessation of hostilities, but also put forward a number of ideas regarding possible solutions. Putin once again emphasized the importance of addressing the root causes of the conflict and noted the advance of Russian forces,” Ushakov said.

It should be noted that Putin met with Witkoff and Kushner at the Kremlin the previous day.
