Uganda army chief announces protest at Turkish embassy

Uganda's Chief of Defence Forces, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has announced plans for a large demonstration outside the Turkish embassy on September 18, warning that authorities will not tolerate dissent from Turkish nationals in the country.

Axar.az reports that Kainerugaba made the remark in a post on X.

"We are demonstrating in full force at the Turkish Embassy on the 18th of September. Hon.Fadhil is in charge of this demonstration. PLU better do a good job. My order will not change this time. Instead we will arrest ANY Turkish agent who says anything different!" he said.
