Pezeshkian departs for BRICS summit in New Delhi

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has departed for New Delhi, the capital of India, to attend the 18th BRICS Summit.

Axar.az reports, citing Iranian media, that the Iranian president stated: "BRICS's goal is to oppose unilateralism. The slogan of the current summit also resonates with this approach. We hope that day by day we will get closer to this goal. Economic issues are complex enough, and new approaches are needed to reduce unilateralism and totalitarianism in the world."

It should be noted that Russian leader Vladimir Putin has already traveled to India.
