Armenian PM, Uzbekistan President hold phone call

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke by phone with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Axar.az reports, citing Armenian media, that according to a readout from the PM’s Office, the Uzbek president congratulated Pashinyan on his reappointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and wished him success for the consistent development of Armenia.

The sides discussed issues related to the further advancement of Armenia-Uzbekistan relations and the bilateral agenda. The importance of taking consistent steps toward expanding trade and economic ties was emphasized.

They also exchanged views on regional processes, including the work being carried out toward the unblocking of communications.
