Ukraine strikes Russian Azot chemical plant -

The Ukrainian military has carried out strikes on the Azot plant in the city of Berezniki, Perm Krai, one of Russia’s largest chemical industry enterprises.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that the Azot plant produces ammonium nitrate, ammonia solution, urea, nitric acid, and other components used in the production of explosives.

The plant is also the only facility in Russia producing sodium nitrate and crystalline sodium nitrite.
