Ukraine to resume strikes on Russia’s refineries

Ukraine will resume strikes on Russia’s oil refineries President Volodymyr Zelensky told the Financial Times in a fiery interview where he lamented what he said was a “dangerous” withdrawal of US intelligence sharing and access to the Starlink satellite internet service.

Axar.az informs, citing CNN, “The block [on attacking refineries] is out. We’re done,” Zelensky told the FT in London.

The comments by Zelensky are the latest that publicly lay bare the growing frustration he has with President Donald Trump, deepening the already fractious relationship between the two leaders.

Trump announced a controversial deal last week to buy Russian diesel and he has heaped pressure on Ukraine to stop striking Moscow’s refineries as he works to bring down energy costs ahead of the midterm elections.
