Prince Harry seeks to mend royal family ties

Britain's Prince Harry has said he wants to repair his relationships with his father, King Charles III, and his brother, Prince William, stressing that family disputes are not worth prolonging.

Axar.az reports that Harry made the remarks in an interview at the GQ offices in New York City.

“Some people don't want it to work out. I want it to work out,” he said, adding that reconciliation was particularly important given everything happening in the world.

Harry acknowledged that emotional scars can last a lifetime but stressed the importance of changing one's perspective, letting go of the past and moving forward.

“There’s enough drama in the world and enough drama in people’s lives than to continue with issues with family. It’s just like, it’s not worth it,” he said.

It should be noted that Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, stepped down as senior working members of the royal family in 2020 and moved to the United States. Their decision strained Harry’s relationships with his father and brother. Last week, Harry and Meghan attended a public event together for the first time since returning to the UK.
