Putin: Russia poses no threat and seeks cooperation

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia has never threatened any country and remains committed to cooperation rather than confrontation.

Axar.az reports, citing TASS, that Putin said it was important for foreign countries to recognise Moscow's willingness to develop cooperative relations and adjust their approach towards Russia.

“Especially now, it is very important that people in many countries, including those beyond the countries you represent, recognise at the political level that, first of all, Russia has never threatened anyone and does not threaten anyone now,” Putin said.

“Secondly, we seek cooperation,” he added.

Putin called on countries that have not yet adopted this approach to reconsider their positions and stop seeking confrontation with Moscow.
