Coronavirus tension in the Armenian parliament

Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Ararat Mirzoyan warned the deputies.

Axar.az reports that Mirzoyan warned the deputies who attended the parliamentary session without masks that they would not be allowed to attend.

"Taking into account the decisions and orders of the commandant in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, I will warn deputies who do not wear masks and, if necessary, remove them from the parliament for 7 days," Mirzoyan said.

The speaker gave the first warning to Gevorg Petrosyan, a member of parliament from the Prosperous Armenia Party.
