We will turn 2021 into a year of celebration for our country and nation. Over the past 19 years, we have set records in the history of the Republic of Turkey, especially in the field of transport.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a live broadcast of the opening ceremony of the Hasankeyf-2 bridge in his country.

"When we came to power, there were only 6,100 kilometers of roads in our country, we increased it to 28,200 kilometers. We more than doubled the length of our country's highways to 3,523 kilometers. In 2002, we had 83 tunnels, today this number is 435. "The total length of tunnels has been increased from 50 to 595 kilometers, and the length of bridges from 311 to 701 kilometers," Erdogan said.
