Turkish president called the Bulgarian leader

Today, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Bulgarian President Rumen Radev had a telephone conversation.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration.

It was noted that the leaders discussed the development of Turkish-Bulgarian relations, as well as regional processes. Congratulating his counterpart on his re-election, Erdogan said they wanted to further deepen existing ties with Bulgaria in all areas, including transport, trade and defense.

The presidents assessed the situation with the Russian-Ukrainian war and its impact on the region.
