Putin will visit Turkiye on April 27. Erdogan made a statement about this.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the well-known Russian political expert Sergey Markov.

Markov stressed that within the framework of Putin's visit to Turkiye, he will hold discussions with Erdogan regarding peace negotiations with Ukraine.

"Putin will probably visit the earthquake regions and negotiate both the grain agreement and peace talks or create the appearance of peace talks because the time for peace talks in Ukraine is not yet in April. Also, it seems that there will be an intergovernmental commission. And there will be an opening of the nuclear power plant in Akkuyu. Nuclear fuel will be loaded. It's great."

The expert noted that the main purpose of Putin's visit to Turkey is to help his friend Erdogan win the elections and remain the president:

"Because Erdogan's main opponent in the elections is the pro-American Kılıçdaroğlu. Putin is very popular in Turkiye. The majority of Turks hate America (according to sociology, anti-Americanism is at the highest level there), and they love Putin."
