Tokayev appointed a new prime minister

President of Kazakhstan Gasim-Jomart Tokayev has appointed Alikhan Ismayilov as the new prime minister of the country.

Axar.az reports that Tokayev signed a decree in this regard.

It should be noted that Alikhan Ismayilov headed the government of Kazakhstan from January 2022. Ismayilov resigned after the last parliamentary election. The Amanat Party, which won the election, nominated Ismayilov for the post of prime minister.
