The Tehran court issued a final decision after holding 3 hearings on the killing of Qasim Soleimani, the former commander of the IRGC's Quds forces.

Axar.az informs that Iranian media reported on this.

According to the decision, the US government and 41 other individuals and legal entities of this country were sentenced to pay 49 billion 770 million dollars in compensation for their role in the death of Qassem Soleimani.

Also, the court ordered the US government and other defendants to issue an official apology and publish it in one of the newspapers.

It should be noted that Qasem Soleimani was killed at the Baghdad airport on the night of January 3, 2020, as a result of precise missile strikes from a US drone.
