The Russian Foreign Ministry has called the news spread on behalf of the Russian House in Baku regarding the calls for action fake.
Axar.az reports that the Russian Foreign Ministry, in a statement issued today, stated that the calls for a rally in defense of the Russian House, which was spread on behalf of the Russian House on February 13 at 10:00 AM in Baku's "Azadlig" Square, are fake.
It was noted that the disinformation spread on social networks around the Russian House in Baku is based on known instructions and is aimed at undermining Russian-Azerbaijani relations.
"The materials on social networks calling on "Baku residents and everyone who values and respects Russian heritage and culture to participate in the action in support of the Russian House in Baku are fake, designed to create an emotional reaction in the mass audience," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
It should be noted that in addition to the name of the Russian House in Baku, fake information has also been spread. Some YouTube channels operating against Azerbaijan abroad have also spread materials citing this information.
It should be added that Azerbaijan has sent a note to Russia on the termination of the activities of the Russian House.
The Russian Information and Cultural Center, the representative office of "Rossotrudnichestvo" in Azerbaijan, sent a note to the Russian side on February 3, 2025, on the termination of the activities of the Russian House after informing the Russian side that the Russian House does not have registration as a legal entity and that the organization is seriously violating Azerbaijani legislation.
