Iran has supplied Russia with many powerful surface-to-surface ballistic missiles.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media.

"There is no reason to hide it. We have permission to export weapons to any country," one of the Iranian officials told the agency.

It was noted that Iran has provided Russia with about 400 missiles, most of which belong to the "Fateh-110" family of short-range ballistic missiles. In particular, we are talking about Zulfiqar missiles, which can hit targets at a distance of 300-700 kilometres.

According to the terms of the agreement reached during the meetings between Tehran and Moscow, the supply to Russia started at the beginning of January.
