A new ban is being imposed on migrants living in Russia's Kamchatka region.

Axar.az reports that the governor of the province Vladimir Solodov signed a decision in this regard.

According to the decision, which will enter into force in 2025, migrants are prohibited from working in enterprises that produce baby and diet foods, non-alcoholic beverages, collect and process hazardous waste, as well as in the tourism sector, forest resources departments, electricity, gas, and water supply institutions.

Note that this is not the first ban on the territory of Russia. Before that, migrants were banned from working in 7 areas - transport, education, healthcare, trade, hunting, medicine and food production - in the Omsk region.

The implementation of such bans in other regions of Russia is also on the agenda.
