Four years have passed since the liberation of the village of Khudafarin in the Jabrayil region from Armenian occupation.

Axar.az reports that the Azerbaijani Army liberated the historic Khudafarin bridges and the village on October 18, 2020, during the 22nd day of the Patriotic War that began on September 27, 2020.

On that same day, the Azerbaijani Army also ended the occupation of the villages of Hajilı and Haji Isaqlı in the Jabrayil region.

During nearly 30 years of occupation, the Armenians devastated Khudafarin village, demolishing homes, administrative buildings, and all structures, turning the area into ruins.

The liberation of the Khudafarin bridges and village is considered a significant event in the Patriotic War. This victory played a crucial role in the history and fate of the Azerbaijani people, boosting the confidence of the Azerbaijani Army and contributing to both the military and psychological defeat of the enemy.
