World leaders react to Yahya Sinwar's death

The leader of Hamas’s Political Bureau, Yahya Sinwar, has been killed by Israeli forces.

Axar.az reports that the leaders and ministers from Western countries have issued statements regarding Sinwar's death. Here are some of those statements:

U.S. President Joe Biden: "Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas, has been killed. This is a good day for Israel, the U.S., and the world."

French President Emmanuel Macron: "The main individual responsible for the terrorist acts and atrocities committed on October 7 was Yahya Sinwar. Today, I think of the victims, including our 48 compatriots and their families. France continues to demand the release of all hostages still held."

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock: "Sinwar was a ruthless killer and terrorist who sought to destroy Israel and its people. As the organizer of the terror on October 7, he brought death to thousands and immeasurable suffering to the entire region."

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani: "It appears that the military leader of Hamas has been killed, and I believe that in this regard, Israel has acted in self-defense against Hamas terrorists."

British Defense Minister John Healey: "I will not mourn the death of a terrorist leader like Sinwar, who was responsible for the attacks carried out on October 7."
