Kazakh banks have increased the period of making payments from Russia to two to three weeks.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the head of "Opora Rossii" Nikolay Dunayev.

According to him, "Halyk Bank" completely refused to accept payments from Russia.

The Russian press reports that the delay in payments in dollars has been observed for a long time, and since the beginning of February 2024, there have been difficulties in transactions with the national currency. Experts emphasize that Kazakh banks have begun to check payments from Russia more deeply for fear of falling under the secondary sanctions of Western countries.

It should be noted that earlier some Chinese and Turkish banks refused to work with businessmen from Russia, and UAE banks tightened their requirements for accepting payments from Russia.
