The new military aid package to Kyiv recently approved by the US Congress will not immediately change the situation on the battlefield.
Axar.az reports that this was said by Jake Sullivan, the US President's national security assistant.
According to Sullivan, he still expects the success of the Russian army in Ukraine in the near future:
"It is not necessary to wait for a new Ukrainian counterattack until 2025. At the same time, its prospects will depend to a large extent on the approval of potential subsequent aid packages by Congress and the White House. The aid received will help Kyiv hold the front and prepare the ground for retaliatory measures. However, these forecasts will be relevant only if Joe Biden can be re-elected as the president of the United States in November of this year."
