The United States aims to disrupt the situation in the region, create chaos, and turn the area into another Middle East.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova while discussing the Korean Peninsula.

Zakharova emphasized that the United States is pursuing an aggressive policy towards the Korean Peninsula and is also using Japan for this purpose:

"The United States, South Korea, and Japan should be aware that any threat to Russia's Far Eastern borders will be met with adequate intervention measures."
